Growing in stature with every season, MadeMe have compiled a very compelling collection for Fall/Winter 2009. To showcase the label, designer Erin Magee has teamed up with esteemed photographer Brooke Nipar to capture the essence of the MadeMe brand in “Mes Amies,” meaning “my friends” in French.
To exhibit a variety of pieces from Erin’s past and current collections, she enlisted the help of her best friends, singers Nicole and Natalie of Nina Sky, and some of Los Angeles’ and New York City’s most talked about creative personalities. “What better excuse to play dress up with all my friends?” Erin exclaims. “Each personality has helped in some way or another with building the MadeMe brand. I told everyone, ‘Come as you are,’ since we all happen to be really stylish and cute! The shoot was easy and I knew the personalities would reflect well on camera. I am really proud of everyone!”
“MadeMe is a woman’s brand, but the purpose of this shoot was to show the world who’s behind the brand,” Erin reveals. “Girls, boys, gay, straight, black or white, we all come together to make MadeMe a really special project.”
