Here is a look at Mastermind Japan’s f/w 2009 collection titled “Serenade”. Showing no signs of slowing down Mastermind Japan has already opened flagship stores in both Macau and Taiwan this year alone, on top of numerous collaborations from bearbrick and G-shock to Gundam and premium bottled water label. This latest collection is again evidence of Masaaki Homma’s attention to detail and strength in adding his own unique twist on classic designs, featuring as usual the skull motif on a predominantly dark colour scheme. Hints of vintage Americana workwear influences can also be seen on items like the denim worker hats to denim jackets and plaid shirts, alongside other heavy knit and outerwear pieces.
