The Nike Sportswear 1948 space saw the Destroy To Create event take place over the weekend bringing together a number of different creative personalities collaborate, fusing their work in their respective fields with the ‘destroy to create’ philosophy in celebration of the new NSW Destroyer jacket collection.
Blending together art work, a tattoo studio, music, a sports arena the 1948 space had been completely transformed with great aplomb. From artists like Harry Malt and Tim Barber and design studio I Have Pop to DJ’s like Kireek and WBA Super Heavyweight Champion Kina Malpartida you can imagine the submerse mixture of names and works on showcase.
Keep an eye out for the Nike Sportswear ‘Destroy To Create’ film dropping November 18th, which documents the evening’s activity, but for now, check out some photos below of what has to be one of the best events I have had the pleasure of attending.
