Not out until April of next year, here is a preview of an exciting collaboration Nike NSW have created with artist Matzu, AKA Tomokazu Matsuyama. Matzu wanted to use this project as an opportunity to experiment with concepts not usually associated with Nike Sportswear or himself so he chose the trench coat, a formal design not usually associated with sports wear as the canvas. Featuring 2.5 layer lamination fabric that is both water and wind resistant, waterproof zippers, taped seams, wrist adjustment loop in premium leather and reinforced laser-cut seams in contrast white the design is kept minimal with Matzu’s artistic flair limited to an inside pocket which features his signature paint mark in black and white.
