Patrik Ervell is renown for his classic American aesthetic, although now he has put that restriction aside. Evolving and incorporating new cuts and materials to create a very distinctive look drawing inspiration from “fabrics from English tennis clubs” and Ettore Sottsass’ Milanese furniture design collective, Memphis, in the eighties. “Dynamism of pattern” is how Ervell explains, creating a lot of talk with his far and wide inspiration which liberated his approach to his upcoming season.
