Rick Owens brought us another top show this year and with an even greater range of signature pieces. Denim was used ingeniously and came in the form of coats, jackets and some very experimental pieces like the punk inspired aprons that decorated many of the outfits. We saw the basic tee reinvented and transformed again with the Owens aesthetic, utilizing some technical twisting techniques making them long, raw and animal-like. With so much experimentation and a very original execution of the Goth inspired aesthetic, there is no doubt that menswear will continue to be exciting with this designer around.
