Overspray by Norman Hathaway is a look at airbrush art and its history in Southern California. Hathaway speaks about 4 particular artists: Charles E. White III, Peter Palombi, Dave Willardson and Peter Lloyd, all whom held fruitful careers with a collective resume that includes work for Playboy, the Rolling Stones, Levi’s, the movies Tron and American Graffiti. Growing up in Southern California, airbrush art is something I have been exposed to a lot, so this definitely seems like an interesting read and visual treat.
