You may or may not know of BADBADNOTGOOD, an youthful Toronto based jazz trio, that’s insignificant. What truly matters is the band, through well play music selections and praise from artist they have chose to interpret, see Tyler, The Creator, have gotten ears to experience the beauty of jazz music whom would have remained deaf to its notes. Since earlier in the summer the band has unleashed their jazz renditions of songs from artist the likes of MF Doom, Nas, Slum Village, and Gangstarr. We are now given their first live taping of their music “BBNGLIVE 1″. The set list diverse and speaks to the bands influences and raw youthful talent. Much respect to bands like BADBADNOTGOOOD that take a stand against much of the pop driven music that infiltrate our ears these days. BBNG gets extra praise for doing it in their own styling and keeping the spirit of jazz greats alive and well thought their own pieces. You can follow the band as well as download their previous releases through their bandcamp page.
