After recieving an early nod in his career by the late J Dilla himself it was only right for Finale to be blessed with a track from the expansive collection of unreleased Dilla tracks for his recently released “A Pipe Dream and a Promise”. “Heat” is just that and for any one who is a follower of J Dilla will understand why this young talented MC received an co-sign from such a legend. Finale’s braggadocio-filled stream-of-consciousness flow mixes effortlessly with the hard drums attributed to the Dilla sound, as if the track was heavenly conceived.
