Next month a collection of works surrounding iconic grunge band Nirvana will be on showcase in the bands home city of Seattle. Entitled Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses, the exhibition consists various pieces of work from a never before exhibited high school painting by lead singer Kurt Kobain, handwritten lyrics by Cobainf or “Span Thru” and Floyd the Barber”, Cobain’s iconic yellow cardigan as well as various instruments used by the band members. The exhibition opens on April 16 at the Experience Music Project Science Fiction Museum and makes for a must see if in the area.
