I figured it will be a slow day due to it being Christmas and all, but I wanted to take a minute to post this very interesting video that Shawn Mortensen posted on a popular site. It eloquently explains a 6-second drum break that has been sampled time and time again over the span of 4 decades throughout multiple genres of music. The break can be heard on the B-side of a single released in 1969 by The Winstons, and it still an extremely relevant piece of music this day due to that 6-second break. Anyway, it is a very well written and extremely interesting, so take a break from all of the Holiday face stuffing, and check it out.
