DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist need no introduction have conformed a very unique and groundbreaking style these musicians have announced the imminent arrival of their first foray into the world of vinyl toys with this piece entitled The Juke Bot.
"Brought to life by a dream-team of creative thinkers, the Juke-Bot is designed by internationally renowned street artist and longtime Shadow collaborator Paul Insect, based on conceptual art by Ben Stokes. Production and sculpting credits go to Klim Kozinevich and Scott Wetterschneider of Bigshot Toyworks. Juke-Bot stands 7.5" high, is 3" wide at the base, and has bendable arms and legs. It is housed in a numbered cardboard box with full-color art by Insect."
Quantities of Juke-Bot are limited to 500 worldwide, and will first appear on July 15th at DJ Shadow’s official website. Juke-bot will also be sold at the last "Hard Sell" tour dates (see Shadow’s site for more information), and a small quantity will be available at select designer toy-stores, beginning early August
