Kris Van Assche presented the latest Dior Homme Spring Summer 09 collection this week as a part of the Paris Fashion Week. Abiding to Slimane’s rock’n’roll, skinny pants, high-top sneakers, and tailored-shirts aesthetics, this season includes a few well-executed monochromatic sleek looks, alongside colorful shiny jackets, gold pants and bizarre sunglasses.
Since Hedi Slimane left Dior Homme last year, many fans were left wondering what the future will hold for the label. While the first collection from Kris Van Assche seemed promising, this latest collection seem to have gone a little too far from the traditional slim and sleek tailoring that Dior Homme is known for.
