Between 6th and 28th July 2007 the two heavy weight Brooklyn based artists FUTURA and JOSE PARLA teamed up in London at the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms for a sell-out PIRATE UTOPIAS exhibition. FUTURA painting his entire collection of works for the show, and JOSE PARLA painting a huge 305 x 365 cm (10’ x 12’) site specific custom made canvas. Blag Magazine have compiled a 3 part look behind the scenes of a hugely important show in the history of street culture.
