GAP announces their recent collaboration with thirteen artist made famous for their work in the contemporary art genre. Hailed as the most influential contemporary artist in recent times and with iconic names like Chuck Close, Jeff Koons, Marilyn Minter, Kiki Smith, and Cai Guo-Qiang ; the thirteen distinguished collaborators were given full creative license to create Tees that probably belong to the preserve of museum masterpieces but will for a time grace thee shelf of a local clothing retailer. The news comes in conjunction with GAP’s recent work with Whitney Museum of American Art and Art Production Fund to promote and sustain the arts. The limited edition Tees will be available at Whitney Museum of American Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and at Colette.
