Gary Baseman’s solo show, Knowledge Comes With Gas Release, opened on July 3rd to an enthusiastic crowd at Barcellona’s Iguapop Gallery. The new show features all new paintings from Baseman laced with his familiar characters demonstrating their recognizable charm. The show took the audience on a fantasy filled voyage as getting lost in the distinctive Baseman eyes of butterflies, mermaids, monkey-like faces, and even the devil for good measure. The show will be running through August 2nd at the Iguapop Gallery.
