Jose Parla is scheduled to open his highly anticipated first solo exhibition titled ‘Adaptation / Translation’ on October 10th up until November 8th in London at the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms.
The New York based artist works with various mediums ranging from aerosol to simply found objects, and attempts recreate pieces that depict the essence of the cities that the paintings are named after. Showcased in the exhibition will include a new body of work, intriguing installations and museum-scale site-specific paintings.
