Honeyee blogger Andrew Bunney, interviewed Daniel Mason, a packaging specialist, who was commissioned by Peter Saville to research the vinyl packaging for the Joy Division albums, Unknown Pleasures, Closer and Still. If you’re like me and have these vinyl covers on hand, its an interesting project, the interview discusses more than the research and is a good look back at a band who’s recieved much attention of late, whether it be through their continued fan base, the inspiration in fashion of late and this years film, Anton Corbijn’s Control, and the 30th year anniversary of the band.
