Here is an epic project including Japanese label Number (N)ine, and name we have heard very little in these circles Nepenthes. The reason why is because they usually work behind the scenes having done production for the likes of Engineered Garments, Needles amongst others dating back to 1988 under the watchful eye of Keizo Shimizu. This project has coincided with Nepenthes’ 20th anniversary and the connection lies with Number (N)ine’s founder Takahiro Miyashita who was once part of Nepenthes set up. The extensive project includes a number of impressive items based around a purple theme with jackets, sweats, pants and boots with a strong purple theme behind it.
