colette has played host to may great exhibition’s and this upcoming feature of Pottok wallpaper by Geoff McFetridge is one I have a personal interest in. Pottok wallpapers is a network developed to connect "artist’s prints and patterns with fand and designers" and the materials used are recyclable paper and water-based inks on some impressive hand silk-screens. McFetridge started working with wallpapers and printed fabrics in more recent years dating back to 2000 with an installation at colette. Celebrations will bein next Tuesday for this showcase of mass proportions which will take centre stage on the groundfloor of colette. In addition to celebrate the event and 11 years of business Geoff McFetridge has some artwork featured on the colette website for good flavor.
