Radical Advertising, is an exhibition which kicked off this weeked in Dusseldorf, Germany. The events purpose is to showcase the history of shock value in advertising, and to introduce its visitors to the world of Web 2.0 and You Tube and the role they play in advertising. Included in the forms of advertisng the event shows, is Guerilla retail outlet,s one of the most high profile over recent times has been the ongoing Comme Des Garcon’s guerilla store concept. The show in Dusseldorf will play host to CDG’s latest store, a perfect way to show exactly how this method works, and the first time Comme Des Garcon’s guerilla store will see the insides of a museum. The exhibition is also available online and certainly worth checking out if you can’t make it to Germany, if you can however, th show runs through till August 16th at the NRW Forum Duesseldorf.
