Shawn Mortensen’s ‘Out of Mind’ show has travelled to Italy this month and is on show at Slamjam. The Italian retailer has shown coverage from the event on their site which you can check out here. One of the most influential photographers of the modern era Mortensen’s work is becoming hugely popular of late within the Street Culture’s Net community, but it was his infamous photography of Biggie some time ago that brought him to the forefront of Street Culture. Some say that one photo of Biggie in Bape did more for the expansion of the Japanese Streetwear label in the USA than anything else. But of course thats only a very small part of Mortenens works. Even recently his photography of MIA for I-D was a huge hit! Here’s where you can do your homework. And don’t forget to buy the book of course!
