+46 is a Stockholm based Trade Fair. This year Siv Stoldal was awared the prestigious +46 award for S/S 2009. While of course her designs are in keeping with her high profile and her typical St martins alumni ability to show conceptuality through fashion is almost unmatched, its her installations as presentation of her collections over the past few years which have caught the eye of many. Last year saw countless Parka’s, her signature piece for the season, suspended from an industrial building, this season an installation created by artist Andreas Nilsson and architects Boys Don’t Cry.
