Strange Fruit Berlin

The end of April presented Berlin with a further addition to its bouquet of fashion stores: Strange Fruit, a concept store of a size and scope unrivalled in Germany. Spread over two floors, the spacious 450 sqm store stocks the cream of international up-and-coming designer labels for men and women, accessories and lovingly selected lifestyle delights.

Daliah Roth, the store’s Berlin-born curator and managing director, also developed the concept for Strange Fruit. After several extended stays abroad, the fashion expert decided to implement her seminal vision of setting up a progressive designer boutique in Berlin. She is now introducing many designers like Anne Valérie Hash or Richard Nicoll to Berlin who have already made a name for themselves in Paris, London and Tokyo.

The selection of labels will vary on a seasonal basis. Daliah Roth’s emphasis is firmly centred on the designers: "I always aim to offer a broad range of any designer’s entire collection to give my customers a faithful impression of the creator’s style and intention".

Currently the stocklist includes the likes of Bernhard Willhelm, Cassette Playa, Hussein Chalayan, Junya Watanabe, and Kitsune amongst others.
