Contra is a cult figurehead on the Miami music circuit. Known as the tour DJ for MIA and Spank Rock, this summer he is about to make noise with Santogold around the US, opening for Coldplay. Having begun as a host for a local university radio where he studied graphic design, he forged a new clear path in music, since then mastering regular slots playing Miami’s Purdy Lounge, Heathrow, White Room and The Vagabond.
