The next stop for this remarkable capsule photo exhibition by Estevan Oriol presented with Undefeated and adidas that celebrates the adidas basketball history with 1979, is Berlin with Firmament playing hosts this coming Friday, February 1st which follows all the success of the event in Barcelona at Limiteditions and in Los Angeles at Undefeated. As part of the 1979 project, the photographs on display are from the book entitled 1979. Utilizing the skills and credibility of photographer Estevan Oriol, it displays basketball as an urban and maverick game, providing a rich, broad range of images. This abstract, artistic depiction of the game is experienced by those who play it as a true metaphor of battle. Without violence, it focuses on skill, finesse and style as the tools for victory. The signed and framed photographs which are limited to a release of 20 will be for sale in-store from February 1st and in the Firmament online store the following week.
