On September 6, YSL will distribute over half a million copies of its Manifesto to urbanites in Paris, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. While in previous seasons the newspaper-style manifesto publication graced photographs of models Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen. This season sees Naomi Campbell photographed in the Fall/Winter 2008-2009 collection shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The first 5,000 shoppers will also receive a tote bag designed by Stefano Pilati. On the same day, a behind-the-scenes film of the shoot with Naomi Campbell will debut on ysl.com. So if you’re a fan of YSL and happen to be in the cities mentioned above, make sure you keep an eye out for these Manifestos.
