YSL kicked off the fashion whirlwind yesterday with a steamy visual foreplay that stated in no time will they be loosing their sex appeal. Playing in accompany to their runway show the film, shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, starred a ‘lust-dazed’ Michael Pitt watching the various items of clothing, notably loose, cropped trousers, one-button peacoats and zipper details, being removed. As well as the racy styling, Stefano Pilati seemed to have indulged in a few fetishes, with glistening nickel zippers splashed decoratively on cuffs and lapels, and an extensive use of super-soft black leather on jackets and ankle boots.
