About Kolor
Kolor was founded in 2004 by Bunka Fashion College Graduate. Junichi Abe. Abe had previously plied his trade at Comme des Garcons before founding Kolor, a brand which rather than focusing its collections on themes and/or external inspiration, but instead focusing on garment construction itself for inspiration. The last few seasons have seen a cult following created for the label, culimating in the opening of its first flagship store in Tokyo in 2009, and the brands entry into the western fashion market, mainly through Europe.
