10 Limited-Edition And Collaboration Plimsolls … What Are Plimsolls?

What’s a plimsoll? Well, basically it’s the British word for a type of athletic shoe that is made out of a canvas upper and a rubber sole. They were originally designed as beachwear by a British company back in the 19th Century. The Aussies call them sand shoes. In America, we lump them together with sneakers or tennis shoes.  The Irish term is rubber dollies (which is awesome). But basically, they’re the Converse and Vans kicks you’ve been beating up since you were a kid.

Now that you’re an adult, there’s a whole boat-load of different variations of plimsolls that take the idea of summer sneakers to the next level. Here’s 10 such limited-edition and collaboration plimsolls for your purchasing pleasure.
