Philip Lim’s Spring ’13 runway show offered a look at some seriously clean cut pieces from his latest collection. White is the dominant tone, and the overall vibe was that of casual style presented in an immaculately tailored context. Outerwear sits just right over relaxed trousers which often feature hits of juxtaposing patterns to counter the strong vertical tailored lines that run through the collection. A Renaissance-style opulence is found in the floral-inspired prints that adorn certain jackets and pants in a vintage Versace manner. We’re certainly digging the sporty pieces that make an appearance – polo shirts, sweats and tees – and there are some nice bags and footwear options in there too.
