adidas have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Team Great Britain – first partnering with the national squad at the 1984 LA Olympics. In celebration of their commitment, and with London 2012 under 100 days away, adidas Originals launch their Team GB Tailored Sport Collection. A lifestyle range with an authentic preppy aesthetic at its heart, the tailored collection is styled by Sunday Times Style Fashion Features Editor and menswear stylist, Michael Hennegan.Shot by esteemed photographer Cameron McNee, Hennegan states, “It was interesting to me to take a range from a brand with such a prestigious sporting background as adidas, and position it in a different arena. The preppy look and feel is perfect for our British summertime. We wanted to give it this sophisticated flavour whilst staying true to the sports heritage ethos of the brand.”
