Taking a couple of vintage silhouettes from THE NORTH FACE archives, BEAMS and THE NORTH FACE Purple Label have recreated two new pieces for the Fall/Winter season. The 65/35 Mountain Parka is based on the vintage ‘70s Mountain Parka and takes its name from the 65/35 Bayhead Cloth that the brand developed during the ’70s. It is updated with a slimmer silhouette for modern wear. The Down Vest also takes its cues from the originals produced in the ’70s-’80s, but is marked by its design which is for comfort and lightweight appeal, rather than for its warmth. The items are available at BEAMS retail stores in Japan and online.
