Ben Sherman’s AW12 collection is showcased in a number of drinking holes and pool halls across East and West London, in the British brand’s ‘Mod, Meet Rocker’ lookbook. Self-explanatory really – Ben Sherman has historically been associated with both cult movements, and has thus both influenced and played influencer to the styles rocked by both groups. For the AW12 collection we see a meeting of these styles, and the harmonious co-existence of these historic rivals – realised in the clean cut suits and parkas of the mods worn together with the rougher leather jackets and knits of the rockers. All cultural references aside, this is a great collection which offers a variety of well-made pieces that can easily be dressed up or down.
