American fashion photographer Bruce Weber has shot a new film for Giorgio Armani’s classic Acqua di Giò Essenza fragrance from 1996. The scent is a slightly more intense version of the original fragrance, which was inspired by Armani’s current home – the Mediterranean island of Pantelleria. The film captures the essence of island living – the ocean – as well as the region’s scorching heat, brought over from nearby Africa. “The idea was to capture, in my own way, that Mediterranean feel,” explains the photographer. “The connection to water, the sea, and bodily freedom on a beach.” (NOWNESS)
