For AW12, Buttero comes back with its signature round toe derby shoe, now featured in two new versions. Taking the same black scuffed leather, which can be spotted on the brand’s additional offerings for the upcoming season, and pairing it with a rich cognac brown variation for the vegetable tanned uppers, along with some metal tip cotton laces, Buttero manages to further enhance this style’s sleek design. The rawness of the edges showing at the cuff and eye row act as a contrast to this and, together with heavy stitching and strong leather soles, reflect and underline the shoe’s highly crafted origin.
