BWGH and PUMA have finally revealed their complete collaborative collection, which includes a reworked R698 sneaker accompanied by a technical backpack and skateboard deck. BWGH’s David Obadia directed throughout the creative process, and his affinity for intense, pure colors – inspired by American painter Mark Rothko – shows through in the collection’s deep blue palette. The collection’s name, Bluefield, is itself a tribute to the painter’s work, while the R698 is an ode to the harmony found in Rothko’s canvases. The shoe utilizes suede, mesh, bouclé, and feature mottled laces, all of which pay tribute to both BWGH and PUMA.

Rounding out the collection, the skate deck has been produced in extremely limited numbers that won’t be available to the public, while the backpack will be available online starting December 6th and in-store the following day.
