One of the most respected young emerging designers in the UK is Aitor Throup, he came on to many people’s radars last year when he worked with C.P. Company of their 20th anniversary Mille Miglia jacket, but he has been designing his own name range for some time now. To highlight this he has just an exhibition entitled “Legs” at Galerie Jean-Luc & Takako Richard in Paris showcasing his trousers designed between 2004 and 2009. His unique vision mixes form and function to integrate the practicality of everyday usage and wearers physicality into beautifully tailored garments. Take a look at the trousers included in the exhibition below and watch the animation on the Aitor Throup website which gives you a 360 view of all the features.
Aitor Throup is without a doubt bound to be one of the superstars of the future. He will be showing his Fall/Winter collection at this year’s London Men’s Fashion Week and of course slamxhype will be there to cover it, so stay tuned.
