Foot Patrol was revolutionary, one of the founding members of the current age of sneaker retail and its surrounding culture. After being bought by JD Sports a while back, its now been announced that the iconic London retailer will re-open its doors and cages next month. Not necessarily hugely excited by the news, more intrigued, the sneaker market had changed a lot in the time the stores been closed, the London retail situation is different, the new owners will make a huge difference to the general philosophy of the store… Im interested to see how the new Foot Patrol will take shape.
