As we mentioned in our Vans Syndicate x Rodney Smith article recently, a large amount of events around New York were going down and seemingly, a majority were centered around shoe releases. In this case, Vans had another reason to celebrate as the impending release of Geoff Rowley’s SPV skate shoes provided a great reason to do so. The event went down Saturday night at Brooklyn’s House of Vans space and it looked like no expense was spared. Catering trucks, music by Leo Fitzpatrick and grilled food from Steve Van Doren (son of Vans founder Paul Van Doren) were a great way to help Geoff kick off things proper-like for his SPV shoe.
