In honor of the 50th anniversary of Harper Lee’s Pulitizer-Prize winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird and the Academy Award-winning performance by Gregory Peck, Oliver Peoples is releasing the Gregory Peck frame collection. Inspired by the style worn by Mr. Peck, the project pays tribute to the novel and to the performance by its namesake. Anthony Peck, son of Gregory Peck, had the original optical frame worn in the film in his possession for many years, and he felt the timing was perfect to recreate this iconic style. As a fan of Oliver Peoples for many years, he knew it was the right brand for the project. The Gregory Peck frame by Oliver Peoples ($315 USD) will be available for purchase in Oliver Peoples Boutiques and select stores worldwide in May 2011. All proceeds to the Peck Family from this project will be donated to the Los Angeles Public Library.
