Japanese brand rehacer have just released a look at their Spring/Summer collection for 2010. Named “Paneled Folklore” it includes a full range of outwear, tops, pants, accessories and footwear all featuring some kind of Native American or Nordic style detailing and embroidery. rehacer is a brand we have seen consistently growing in stature over the last few seasons and this latest release is an interesting and varied collection, offering a mix of contemporary Japanese designs with an edge of fashion forward modernism. Its not entirely succesful, it is quite obviously inspired by two of Japan’s strongest modern brands, Visvim and Nonnative, but whilst it doesn’t quite manage to transcend these influences it still offers a strong and exciting collection that points to a label to keep your eyes on. Im a big fan of the embroidered 3/4 baseball shirt and the leather pocket polo!
