Comme des Garçons, French for “like boys”, has long lead the way in creativity with Rei Kawakubo’s unique approach. ‘Play’ by Comme des Garçons began in Japan in 2003 with the aim to create a diffusion label that concentrated on fun wearable garments. Recognisable by the iconic red heart logo and once available only through Comme des Garçons stores this line is now distributed among select boutiques worldwide. The latest collection has pulled together some of the famed designs we have seen in recent times, I am especially liking the v-neck knit.
