We have previously reported that Connect-Auction had announced that they will be hosting a second auction after the success they received from the first auction. In this second auction the world vintage furnitures pieces available for bids will include the works by some of the most influential designers in the last century, ranging from Charles & Ray Eames, George Nelson, to Arne Jacobsen, Stig Lindberg, Ron Arad, Jean Prouve, Marc Newson as well as Japanese designers Sori Yanagi and Isamu Kenmochi, just to name a few. Some notable pieces on for sale amongst the extensive range are chairs designed by Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons, with not alot known about these pieces, i assume that these were perhaps designed for the guerilla stores maybe for decoration purposes or used in changing room. It is a priviledge that such an extensive range is available for bids and since auctions are held privately by vintage furniture collectors, it is expected that the prices will be significantly lower than the current market price.
In case you didn’t mark it down on your calendar last time round. the auctions started on the 5th of April and are currently running until the 25th of April. So start bidding!
