Converse First String‘s throwback ’70s Chuck Taylors are great – a lot of people wearing them won’t go back to standard Chucks – but so far they’ve only been available in OG monochrome colorways. This month that’s set to change, with the release of the 3-Panel pack. Although comparisons to clown/bowling shoes are inevitable, there’s something whimsically nostalgic about these colorways, which retain all the original ’70s details we love about the line. Extra stitching, padding on the insole, a slight change to the toe and an old school label plate on the heel all make this release a certain cop.

Look for them soon at Converse retailers.
