A host of emerging menswear designers have been showcasing their latest collections at London Collections: Men over the last few days; among them one of Britain’s most exciting up and comers, Craig Green. As has become his signature, Green once again trod a fine line between expert silhouette and the avant garde – his pieces sitting somewhere between functional garments and fine art. While the designer has been known for his affection for monochrome in his collections, this season saw the striking inclusion of tie dye in an offering that might have taken its cues from the “baggy” style adopted by English ravers in the early ’90s. An excellent collection from a hugely promising designer.
