Alexander McQueen have announced that renowned artist Damien Hirst will collaborate with the fashion house on one of the brands most iconic pieces, the skull scarf. Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the motif, the collection will consist of a total of 30 one-off designs, the range will feature adaptations from Hirst’s Entomology series as geometric kaleidoscopes of butterflies, spiders, and other insects each put together to recreate the late designer’s iconic skull. All 30 designs are set to be extremely limited and will be available from November in chiffon, pongé, twill, and cashmere at Alexander McQueen stores as well as the Alexander McQueen online scarf boutique.
