Damir Doma for Mykita Sunglasses
Damir Doma’s much talked about collaboration with eyewear manufacturers Mykita launches exclusively this week in global partnership with LN-CC.
The specially created DD01 model is available in three finishes and was a key feature of the Croatian designer’s SS13 runway show, encapsulating the designer’s progressive cuts and fabrications.
The DD01 is typically uncompromising in its use of luxury materials. Three different variations are each forged from stainless steel before being coated in either gold, platinum or jet-black anthracite. Each pair is made from flat sheets of metal which are then bent and folded until they take on the form of the final, three-dimensional finished product. The striking ringed fronts are crafted from eight different blends of horn to create a unique mix of tones across each individual pair.
Every pair comes housed in a high-quality leather case complete with a special strap system that converts to a belt accessory.
Available to pre-order for February delivery on LN-CC.com.
