Having worked for Raf Simons and Dirk Schönberger prior to starting his own eponymous label in 2006, the Croatian born Damir Doma is proving to be one of the most talented designers to be on the look out for. His S/S 2010 collection is a prime example of his promising talent, characterized by the dark and romantically poetic feel,  coupled with moody and thoughtful tailoring and a strong emphasis on technical textiles like breathable drapy fabrics that seem to float on the models. The use of black and burgundy colors make gives the collection a very organic and harmonious feel.  His Belgian influences is also seen through his minimalist approach to the overall aesthetics os his designs. An exceptional collection.
