Celebrations around the 30th anniversary of the Air Force 1 continue, with Nike and Dover Street Market coming together to release a new version of the iconic sneaker, inspired by a distinctly British sportswear aesthetic. Construction of the sneaker uses Ventile, a material that is synonymous with the city of Manchester, making the sneaker lighter, as well as waterproof and more flexible. The Air Force 1’s are available now in classic navy or summer ecru through Dover Street Market and select COMME des GARCONS locations.

[…] Dover Street Market is helping Nike celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 with this new shoe.  Dubbed the “White” AF1, the low top sneaker is built from Ventile – a lightweight, waterproof material local to Manchester.  Extremely designer friendly, the all White shoes are tagged with a Black modern font on the tongue, and a Red grid pattern on the insole.  If you want to grab a pair, find them at SNS.  via: SF […]
